FamiSafe app
We will now show a full tutorial to teach you how to pair the FamiSafe – AI Parental Control app.
We've divided the app into sections to make it easier to explain. Look:
Start
To start, do the download of the FamiSafe app available at android and iOS.
Then, when opening the app, log in using one of the options below:
- Google account;
- Facebook account;
- Create an account with email and password.
If you already have a registration, just access the “Login” option and fill in the data.
pairing
To start, the app shows instructions for connecting to your child's device.
So, you must choose the type of device your child uses, which can be:
- Phone/Pad;
- PRAÇA;
- Light up;
- Chromebook.
Now, two ways of connection are presented.
The first option allows you to use a QR Code to pair the devices, using the son's cell phone to read the code.
The second option is to download the app on your child's cell phone, open it and enter a code that the app provides.
To pair with your child's phone, you need to download the kids version of the app.
This version is called FamiSafe Jr – App for kids.
In the child's app, fill in the following data:
- Child's name;
- Age;
- Choose an avatar.
Now tap start to pair the phones.
The app shows some steps:
- Give access permission to the application;
- Enable app overlay;
- Enable app supervision;
- Enable notifications;
- Enable device administrator permissions;
Parents' cell phone setup
On the parent's cell phone, it is necessary set a pin four-digit number to secure the account.
Then, you need to define the downtime, choosing the times.
Then parents can choose a timeout to lock screen son's cell phone.
This allows the child not to overuse the device.
Now, you need to define the allowed apps to be blocked for the child.
Then add the geofence function.
This function indicates when the child leaves a defined location.
Panel
In the Panel menu, all your child's activities, as:
- Your real-time location;
- Allowed screen time, showing how much screen time has been used;
- Recent activities on the child's cell phone;
- The applications used by the child on the day;
- Screen time rules, being able to change the settings.
Parents must, to access the full functionality of the app, purchase a paid plan, which can be:
- Monthly, per R$ 35.99;
- Annually, for R$ 217.49 (R$ 18.12 per month).
